Horizontal Flag without arm
The horizontal flag without arm is the traditional flag par excellence. It is a flag used both outside and inside where the base of the flag is larger than its side, being the most common ratio between base and side 1 / 1.5. In the absence of wind at the location, this type of flag is dropped and not deployed. It is a widely used flag in locations where they are installed together with institutional flags, which are almost always horizontal.
These types of flags are made with a perimeter hem and a polypropylene ribbon on the side of the flag that is next to the mast. At the end of each end of the tape, a “D” ring is placed on each of which the ends of the mast rope are caught using carabiners.
