Introducing our new range of ECOFLAG flags, made from recycled plastic bottles.

At IBERTI, we are fully committed to the environment and the circular economy, which has led us to develop this range of 100% recycled and completely eco-friendly flags.

The range includes both institutional flags for cities, provinces, communities and countries, as well as advertising flags.

How are they made?

  • Bottles and containers made of polyethylene, such as water bottles and cleaning product containers, are selected from recycling points.
  • These are chopped into thousands of small pieces, which are melted down to create liquid plastic.
  • This liquid plastic is passed through a nozzle while it cools and solidifies, creating recycled plastic thread.
  • These spools of thread are used to weave spools of fabric. The spools are printed and cut to create 100% recycled flags.

With five 1.5-litre plastic water bottles, we can make a 100 x 150 cm flag!

What benefits do we obtain?

For every kilogram of recycled material we use, we save 3 kilograms of CO2 emissions.

The production of ECOFLAG results in 50% energy savings.

We reduce human toxicity by 80%.

By manufacturing a 4×6 m ECOFLAG, we reduce the emissions of an average car driving for one day.

What is their useful life?

As they are made from fabric of the same weight and type as conventional flags, ECOFLAGs have exactly the same useful life as a conventional flag.

At IBERTI, we support the circular economy by reducing both the use of virgin materials and the production of waste, closing economic loops.

ECOFLAG improves the ecological balance.
